Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Fieldtender Pay ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by After6 AI LLC, doing business as Fieldtender ("Fieldtender," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fieldtender Pay is a invoicing and payment platform for field service businesses. It allows you to create and send invoices, accept card payments via Stripe, track payment records, and generate reports for your bookkeeper or accountant.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@fieldtender.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Payments and Billing

Fieldtender Pay charges a monthly subscription fee based on your selected plan. Some plans include a monthly invoice allowance; additional invoices are charged at the per-invoice rate shown on our Pricing page. Fieldtender Pay is operated by After6 AI LLC, and your receipts, invoices and card statement may show Fieldtender Pay or After6 AI LLC.

Free trial. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start a trial, and you are not charged during the trial. The length of the trial, the date it ends and the amount that will be charged are shown at checkout and in your confirmation email.

Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before your trial ends, your card is automatically charged the plan price shown at checkout when the trial ends. After that, your subscription renews automatically each month and your card is charged in advance for the next month, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your full card number. Applicable taxes are added at checkout or on your invoice.

Cancelling. You may cancel at any time. To avoid being charged when your free trial ends, cancel before the trial end date and time shown at checkout. To cancel, choose Manage subscription in your account Settings, use the cancellation link in your billing emails or receipts where one is provided, or contact us at hello@fieldtender.com or (952) 260-6230 and include your business name. If you cancel a paid subscription, your service remains available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that. Cancelling does not reverse charges that have already been made.

No refunds. Once a charge has been made it is non-refundable, including the first charge after a free trial and any partial or unused part of a billing period, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not prorate or credit unused time when you cancel.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and ask you to update your payment method. While your subscription is past due, you may be unable to create or send new invoices, and we may suspend or cancel the service if payment is not received.

Price changes. We may change plan prices. We will notify you by email in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period after the notice. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Payments from your customers. Payment processing for your customers is handled by Stripe. By connecting a bank account through Stripe Connect, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Fieldtender never holds, pools, or has access to funds collected from your customers — all funds flow directly between your customer and your connected bank account via Stripe.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You may not use the Service to:

  • Process payments for illegal goods or services
  • Send unsolicited messages or spam
  • Misrepresent your business identity to your customers
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Circumvent or interfere with any security features

6. Your Data

You own the data you enter into the Service — your customers, invoices, and payment records. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fieldtender and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and content you submit through the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Fieldtender Pay is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional — reports generated by the Service are for your convenience and should be reviewed by a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fieldtender shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@fieldtender.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Text Message (SMS) Notifications

When a contractor using Fieldtender Pay chooses to send an invoice by text, the recipient receives an SMS from Fieldtender Pay, sent on behalf of the contractor, containing the business name and a secure link to pay that invoice. This is a transactional messaging program named Fieldtender Pay Invoices. Messages are sent only when a contractor creates an invoice for that specific recipient.

Message frequency: approximately one message per invoice sent. Message and data rates may apply.

A recipient provides their mobile number to the contractor for the purpose of being invoiced, and the contractor confirms that consent before any text is sent. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe and receive no further texts; reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support at (952) 260-6230 or hello@fieldtender.com.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
